Timberline Lodge Ski Resort in Oregon is a high resort with a decent altitude range located on Mt Hood.

The skiing here suits beginners and intermediates well, more advanced skiers will be looking for some back-country to explore. This is a high resort and skiing is usually possible for a large chunk of the year although the best conditions and snow will be found from December to April. The snow quality is very good and the altitude ensures that what snow does fall tends to stick around (certainly on the upper slopes)

The lift network has benefited from regular investment and is very efficient. Queues are almost non-existent for the lifts and the facilities on or around the slope are very good.
