Seefeld ski resort in the Austrian Tirol has a well deserved worldwide reputation for Nordic skiing. Seefeld sits in the valley and has direct access to two seperate ski areas comprising in total 26km of alpine pistes and nearly 30 lifts or drags. Seefeld provides a range of accomodation, which includes a number of 5* spa hotels and and selection of good quality bars and restaurants. On the slopes there are some very stylishly cosy huts serving good quality food. The pistes here tend to be easy rolling blues and suit beginners very well. The mnore experienced alpine skiers have limited access to free-ride areas but there are a few more challenging runs towards the top of the mountain. Although relatively low in altitude, the resort boasts a very good snow record and this is backed up with snow cannons which ensure skiing back to the authentic and stylish resort at the end of the day is nearly always possible.
