Revelstoke ski resort in British Columbia, Canada, is a new and popular resort opened in 2007.

Revelstoke has a very large ski area with 75 marked pistes. There is a variety of runs here, but the resort does tend to be favoured by expert skiers rather than beginners as they will be able to get the most use of the available space.

Altitude and snow conditions.

This is a large ski area with a well deserved reputation for powder. The altitude range here is good with over 1700m of vertical available to skiers of all levels.

The lift network.

The lifts are a 10 minute drive from the center of town and are serviced by a very regular shuttle. Due to the newness of the resort the lift network is modern and efficient and can usually cope with the demand. Although on blue sky and powder days the resort and lifts can get busy

Back country skiing.

Revelstoke is renowned as an off-piste back country paradise, as the skiable area is vast and there is plenty of skiable terrain between the marked pistes.

Visitors can take advantage of Cat and Heli skiing opportunities here.

There are bars and places to eat on the slopes, but the bulk of the bars and restaurants are located in the village. Revelstoke in the evening can be lively and there are also soe great places to eat. The accommodation is varied and affordable.
