Park City Ski Resort in Utah is both high altitude and large…. Very large. The resort itself is popular in its own right - even without the skiing. Park City hosts the Sundance festival, has great shopping facilities and is a proper working town. It also happens to have access to some great slopes and great snow.

The ski region is large, diverse and has a very well managed and laid out lift system.

There is a very good altitude range here despite the high level of the resort, there is still a lot of mountain above it and so skiers can enjoy some good verticals here. In addition to there being a lot of mountain, there is a lot of that famous Utah powder on it. This resort can get up to 10m of powder per year, and the altitude helps keep it fresh.

The range of pistes is split pretty evenly between suiting beginners and experts, because the resort is so large, experts can also benefit from some great back country skiing opportunities here.

Bars and Restaurants in Utah have a reputation for being a little restrained. However Park City bucks this trend, there’s plenty of great bars and restaurants to enjoy on and off the slopes. Accommodation options in Park City as the resort is large. There are a few ski-to-door apartments or chalets, good quality hotels and more budget conscious accommodation. The resort is a bit more expensive than some other Utah resorts, but you may well think it worth it.

Park City resort is a short drive from Salt lake City and so access from almost everywhere is relatively stress free.
