Maribor Pohorje Ski Map

Maribor is the closest town to the Pohorje mountain ski area, which has 43km of slopes and is the largest ski area in Slovenia. Maribor and the Pohorje ski area is a family friendly resort wb and Ljubith lots of activities and entertainment for kids. There is a good range of accommodation at very good prices.

The resort is low and so the season is limited to the end of March, however there is usually some good snow to be found up top, especially during high season. The resort has a good altitude range and the slopes are predominantly Blue and Red and so this resort does suit beginners well.

There is a good range of accommodation, bars and restaurants close to the lifts and so Apres is well catered for in this resort.

The resort is a similar length drive from both Zagreb and Ljubljana airports, both approximately 1.5 to 2 hours drive away.
