Lofsdalen ski resort is a small lakeside village within Sweden's most southerly mountain range. The ski area has over 26km of slopes which suite beginners and intermediates well, there is a cross ski run to entertain everyone, and more experienced skiers can find some steeper off-piste runs to challenge themselves. The runs are mostly, green, blue or red and the resort markets itself as being perfect for families. The resort itself, despite being small has plenty of accommodation and a good selection of bars and restaurants both on and off the slopes. Being Sweden, there is nearly always cross-country skiing on offer and Lofsdalen is no different in this regard with some long trails available for all to try.
