Heavenly Ski Map

Heavenly Mountain Resort has the largest skiable area in the Lake Tahoe region and like many of its neighbours has a good reputation for blue skies and good snow conditions. The skiable area sits on the border of both California and Nevada and can be accessed from various accommodation.

The ski region is large and there are plenty of runs to suit all levels, but intermediate level skiers tend to get the best out of this resort.

Heavenly has a good altitude range and the snow conditions are often very good, when snow is sparse there is a full battery of snow cannons to keep the slopes covered and given the altitude and climate this ensures that on the piste snow conditions are nearly always good.

The lift network is extensive and efficient, and it needs to be, because heavenly’s proximity to airports and many attractions keep the resort and slopes busy.

Bars and Restaurants on the slopes and in the resorts of both Nevada and California can be lively and fun. This is a busy resort with a good range of activities, facilities and fun, including Casinos on the Nevada side of the resort.

As you would expect in a big popular resort there is a range of good accommodation types and style to suit everyone and most budgets. Plenty of shops, bars, and activities for everyone.
