Crested Butte Ski Map

Crested Butte Ski Resort has a reputation for friendliness and a laid back vibe. Ski bums are attracted to the resort by its great terrain and inexpensive bar bills.

There is a real diversity to the slopes here, and the resort caters well for all levels of skier ability. The altitude range is high here and so skiers get a mix of tree-lined pistes as well as some interesting chutes and bowls above the tree line.

Interestingly enough, Crested Butte had a reputation for naked skiing. Not so much in evidence now, but if this is what you are into then keep your eyes wide open.

The snowfall in the region is not high, but what snow there is sticks around well throughout the season due to the resorts altitude and aspect.

There is limited accommodation at the base and the main town of Crested Butte is located a short 3km shuttle away from the lifts. Nightlife is limited and is busier in the town than at the bottom of the slopes however, there are still some great bars and restaurants to be discovered.
