Bridger Bowl ski resort in Montana is renowned for its dry powder snow. There is some great terrain here to both learn on and master.
There are some really steep slopes here, ungroomed and treacherous for the uninitiated, but great fun for good skiers who know how to handle themselves on the piste. Equally this resort also has some easy runs for beginners and a good volume of intermediate slopes. Just make sure you download the map so you don’t end up on the wrong Trail.
The accommodation for skiers who frequent this ski area is Bozeman and this is a proper town with all the facilities and entertainment you would expect. On the mountainside the facilities are good but there is no accommodation on the slopes so skiers do have to commute from there accommodation.
The ski area is also renowned for being good value and so you can fuel up and kit yourself out on a budget here, whilst still benefiting from some great skiing and good facilities.
