Ylläs Ski Map

Ylläs ski resort and region is located within the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Finland. The ski area is accessed by two resorts Aekaeslompolo and Yllasjavi, both maps are viewable on Pistepro. The altitude range is limited, however, the snow conditions are usually good due to the northerly latitude. The resort suits beginners and intermediates well as most of the runs are blue or red, but there are a couple of more challenging runs to challenge the more experienced skiers. There is a large choice of accomadation within the resorts from chalets to good quality hotels and there is always a good quality restaurant nearby. The easiest way to travel to the resort is by air, and the local airport, Kittilä, is flown to via Helsinki.
