The resort is quite low, with a top of 2050m, however nature is supported with a vast array if snow cannons and so the resort does stay open throughout the season, and ski to door is available at Cote 2000 for a large chunk of the season. Whether you stay in Villard de Lans or Cote 2000 there are plenty of bars and restaurants to relax in during or at the end of the day.
