Vemdalen Ski Map

Vemdalen ski resort is made up of 3 distinct skiable areas, Bjornrike, Vemdalsskalet and the Klovsjo-Storhogna area. On Pistepro, we provide maps for each ski area and our data sheet provides the combined numbers of pistes, and lifts for the whole region.

In addition, Nordic skiing and snow-hiking is catered for well in this resort, and there an additional 70km of Nordic trails open to visitors.

Visitors to this resort can choose from a range of accommodation types in Vemdalen itself or closer to or even on the slopes. There is a regular shuttle which serves each ski area well.

The skiing terrain is typical of many Swedish resorts, with a plentiful and varied collection of slopes with limited altitude range and length. Snow conditions are neatly always good throughout the whole season.

Vemdalen and its ski areas are well served by a very good selection of restaurants and bars, and the resort although small has a everything you need for a great winter sports holiday.

Travelling to Vemdalen is relatively easy via Ostersund (Are) airport with transfer times normally less than 2 hours.

Vemdalen is popular with locals, but also attracts many international visitors and is very family friendly.
