Valtournenche Ski Map

Valtournenche ski resort isolated within the Aosta Valley region of Italy. The lifts that skiers have direct access to a few in number, however this resort is connected to the Matterhorn Ski Paradise ski region and therefore there is a wide range of skiing available in one of the most beautiful areas of the alps. Valtournenche is an attractive large village with good quality accommodation which tends to cheaper than it's higher profile neighbours. There are a good range of bars and restaurants available. The ski runs local to Valtournenche tend to be Blues and reds and would suit beginners and intermediates alike. There is a red piste that enables skiers to ski back to the resort at the end of the day and as Valtournenche has an altitude of 1524m this is usually open the whole season. The broader ski area of Matterhorn Ski Paradise really suits intermediates with plenty of off-piste opportunities for more experienced skiers.
