Valmeinier 1800 ski resort as the name suggest sits in the valley at a snow sure altitude and provides direct and full access to the Galibier - Valloire ski region, often known as the 'mini' 3 valleys. This is a popular area to ski for families and intermediates and the resort itself although purpose built has some great stops for food on the slopes or in the resort. The full ski area suits families and intermediates well and is mostly made up of red and blue runs, although there is also a snow park for experts to test their skills.
