The Tux resort is split into 3 key areas. Hintertux at the top of the valley enables direct access to Glacier skiing at up to 3250m, whilst Tux-Lanersbach and Tux Vorders-Lanersbach, although very close provide direct access to the broader Zillertal 3000 ski area. A regular bus link all the skiable regions in the resort and skiing anyway is possible with the broader pass. The Tux area does have well managed and maintained ski runs at a range of levels and altitudes, but the area generally suits intermediate skiers very well.
