Tignes 1800 ski resort is located in the Valley and is linked to the main Tignes 2100 by lifts or buses. The main draw for Tignes 1800 is the direct access to the full Espace Killy ski region, arguably one of the best in the world with a real variety of slopes and challenges on offer. Tignes 1800 is quieter than the main resort on the plateau, however, it still has a good selection of bars and cafes to choose from and is a more cost effective resort to stay in with access to such great slopes. Tignes 1800 can be skied to directly at the end of the day via gentle blue piste or slightly more challenging red. The resort has access to such a wide variety of slopes it is a good location for skiers of all abilities, but it would particularly suit beginners and intermediates.
