Tatranska Lomnica Ski Map

Tatranska Lomnica ski resort is Slovakia’s highest skiable area. There is a good altitude range here with skiing available from 888m to 2164m. In addition, there is a very steep cable car which can take visitors up to 2634m to enjoy the view with a drink.

The altitude here ensures that there is good snow conditions to be found on the mountain throughout the season. The resort is made up of predominantly blue and red pistes which enable skiers most of the season to ski right back down into the resort with the help of snow cannons.

Apres ski is limited when compared to some of the big alpine resorts, but there are still plenty of lively bars and some good restaurants to enjoy on the slopes and in the village.

There is a range of good quality and more budget orientated accommodation. The facilities in Tatranska Lomnica are varied and so there is plenty to do even when wind or low visibility prevent skiing on the mountain. Beginners can and will enjoy this resort for a full week, but more experienced skiers may want to enjoy for a few days.
