St. Anton is world famous for its Apres. If you fancy a bit of boot stomping, jump on the tables Apres, St. Anton is the resort for you. This resort knows how to party. The centre of the resort is has a traditional Austrian look and feel with which is pedestrianized, primarily to enable more people to pack in to the centre of the resort to drink beer at the end of a day skiing on some of the worlds best slopes.

From a skier’s perspective it is also a fantastic resort with access to one of the world’s most beautiful and massive ski areas. St Anton works well for skiers of all abilities with some easy gliding blues to bring you back to the resort, useful if you are a beginner and also handy if you've had a drink or two on the piste. Free-riders are well catered for here with some marked routes as well as some large off the beaten track terrain that can be explored by experienced skiers.

The region does cater for everyone, but experienced skiers and good intermediates really do get the best out of the slopes in St Anton. The resort is large with over 300km of slopes, which necessitate some very well managed Austrian lift technology. The lift system works and queues are kept to a minimum.

The snow gods in St Anton are generous. The resort gets a very respectful 7m a year on average of the white stuff, but other connected resorts available under the same pass, in the region do even better with Warth reporting an 11m average per annum. The depth of snowfall helps ensure the season is long and what the snow gods cannot supply is topped up by a battery of snow cannons.

Accommodation in St Anton is plentiful and varied, choose from a range of good quality reasonably priced hotels through to some more budget orientated apartments. St Anton accommodates everyone, whatever their budget. If you are looking for somewhere a little quieter, St Anton is in the Arlberg ski region and connected via the lift network to in St Christoph and Stuben which are also cheaper options, but still great fun.

St Anton may be the jewel in the Arlberg, but there are some other very big stones on the crown. Zurs, Lech and Warth all fantastic resorts with some great high altitude skiing very close by and reachable by bus.

Off the slopes and out of the bars St Anton provides access to some great favilities there is a cinema, curling, ice-skating, swimming complex, spas good shopping, rock climbing and even hiking, if you have the energy.
