Sixt ski resort is small, quiet and traditional in style. Perfect for those looking for a quiet ski hide-away. Sixt has a few small nursery slopes and so is ideal for beginners in this regard, to access the broader region, people staying in Sixt can access the broader Grand-Massif ski region by getting on board a regular bus that takes them into Samoens. At the end of the day, skiers can return to Sixt via the Cascades piste, this is a (in some parts) challenging blue run which would suit most skiers with only a little experience. Cascades is 14Km of beautiful scenery which takes skiers from the top of the open mountain down through tree-lined tracks and finally to the village itself.
