Lindvallen ski area is the largest in Sälen and is popular with families. Lindvallen is the name of the modern village which has direct access to the largest lift network and slopes. The resort of Lindvallen is small but has everything you would expect on a classic winter sports holiday.

The lift network is predominantly drags which is appropriate as the altitude range is limited here. However, the resort is far wider than it is high and so there are plenty of pistes for beginners and intermediates to challenge themselves on. The pistes accessible via Lindvallen are mostly green or blue, more experienced skiers can travel a short distance to either Tandådalen or Hundfjället where there are a far greater range of Red or Black slopes available.
