Riksgränsen Ski Map

Riksgränsen resort is one of Sweden's most northerly locations to ski, located well within the arctic circle close to the Norwegian border, snow coverage is not a problem here. The resort is small but has plenty of accommodation at a range of budgets and all the facilities you would expect in a modern resort.

The slopes are served by 6 lifts and consist of beginner and intermediate groomed pistes. The real opportunity here is for off piste and there are a number of trails and areas for experience skiers to challenge themselves.

Riksgränsen is just 2 hours form Kiruna regional airport and getting there can feel like a trek, however, skiing within the arctic circle in a climate that can be challenging, but with access to a couple of great restaurants and good quality warm hotels ensures many experienced and intermediate skiers want to cross Riksgränsen off their bucket list.
