Lochaber, United Kingdom
The Nevis Range ski resort is the newest in the UK. Skiing here is low-altitude in comparison to the Alps, but it’s northerly latitude ensures some good ski days and weeks throughout the season.
There is a range of pistes of varying difficulty which will keep skiers entertained for a day or two. The lift system is modern, fast and efficient. Skiers join the gondola at 100m and are taken to the base of the pisted area at 650m from here, there are a collection of drags and chair-lifts which enable skiers to navigate the area, which includes approximately 18km of groomed slopes.
On the mountain there are 2 cafes/restaurants to enjoy.
The Nevis Range is a day ski location located in a national park and so there is nothing in terms of walkable local accommodation to the slopes.
