Mt Cheeseman ski resort is a family friendly ski area that caters to all abilities - something that not all New Zealand ski resorts can safely say. Set in a reasonably wide, sunny bowl under Mt Cockayne, conditions here are often good. It is one of the closest ski resorts to Christchurch which makes it popular amongst families.
