Les 2 Alpes ski resort sits at a good altitude for snow 1650m and there are many small nursery runs which lead directly into the resort area. The altitude range here is good as skiers can take a cable up to the largest skiable Glacier in Europe at 3200m to enjoy skiing throughout the full season. There are plans to inter-connect Les 2 Alpes with Alpe d'Huez via a massive gondola watch this space to keep yourself posted. The resort itself is expanding and so there is a real mix of old and new build accommodation. In amongst the hotels and chalets there are numerous bars and restaurants that cater to all budgets.
