La Thuile Ski Map

La Thuile ski resort is an Italian village at the top of the Aosta valley sitting very close to the French border. The ski area is connected with the French resort of La Rosiere and they combine to create the San Bernardo ski area. The skiing here is ideal for beginners and intermediates and the altitude range is good so there is usually good snow always to be found up high. Off-piste above the tree line there are some great runs to be found. Accommodation is plentiful and the costs for staying in this resort are low. What it lacks in prettiness it makes up for in facilities and access to a really good ski area. La Thuile has some great quality restaurants and bars with reasonable prices to cater for all budgets.
