Königsleiten ski resort, often referred to as WALD-KÖNIGSLEITEN is another high-altitude resort by Austrian standards set at 1600m with direct access to the Zillertal Arena. Königsleiten is a collection of traditional style buildings and is a quiet resort from which to explore the skiing in the area. The Zillertal Arena ski area suits families well and Gerlos provides direct access to a large ski area with 100's of Km of slopes. There is a range of slopes on offer, but the resort and area best suits intermediates. Boarders and skiers alike will like the opportunities there are for off-piste of free-rides in Zillertal Arena.
