Killington ski resort in Vermont is one of the most diverse and interesting places to ski in Vermont. This is a popular resort with varied terrain (at quite a low altitude).
The snow record is not great here, despite the very cold winters, however this is not a problem because there is a full division of snow cannons covering the resorts pistes and so there is always snow to ski. The climate is cold throughout the season and so what snow does fall does tend to stick around.
The terrain is quite evenly mixed for beginners through to more advanced trails and there is the opportunity for doing some back country skiing when snow conditions have been good.
The accommodation here is mixed but mostly good quality condos. The resort itself has good facilities, but this is a resort that is not renowned for its nightlife, many vistors eat at home rather than venture out at night. However, for those that do, there are a few good quality bars and restaurants to enjoy.
