Jochberg ski resort is in the Kitzski region of Austria. The resort is located further up the valley from it's larger neighbour Kitzbuhel at an altitude of 923m. The resort has direct access to the large Kitzski region with over 170km of pistes via an efficient Gondola which takes skiers to a snow sure 1726m. The ski are is mostly red and blue pistes and so this resort suits intermediates as well as beginners. More experienced skiers can head over to the slopes of the Hahnenkamm and attempt the 'Streif' which is widely regarded as the most challenging downhill run on the world cup series. The resort of Jochberg is quieter than it's lively neighbour Kitzbuhel, however, there are some great spots for Apres both on and off the slopes when the days skiing is done.
