Homewood Ski Resort in Tahoe is uniquely placed to provide breath-taking views of lake Tahoe. Homewood ski resort is a family orientated, no frills, down to earth, resort with a good snow record.

Homewood is smaller than some of its big name neighbours, but there is still plenty of terrain to explore. There is a good balance in slope types and so the resort has something to provide every skier irrespective of their ability.

The resort attracts a regular crowd who enjoy the good snow, on uncluttered sheltered pistes. Most of the runs are tree lined and so the resort provides the perfect sanctuary of good snow and sheltered skiing on stormy days where other resorts have to close their facilities due to storms of high winds.

Homewood has some good facilities and some great places to eat and drink on or near the slope. Accommodation is very limited next to the slope and so the resort relies on visitors who mostly day ski from further afield.

Most people who use the Homewood ski area sat in accommodation in Squaw Valley or Sunnyside or they commute in from towns like Tahoe City to enjoy the Homewood ski region.
