Gryon ski resort and the inter-connected resort of Villars is close to Geneva at a relatively low altitude, so the slopes become popular for people making short trips when they know the snow conditions are good. The resort is inter-connected to Villars and a short ride away skiers can also enjoy higher altitude skiing via the resort of Les Diablerets.
