Grand Targhee ski resort is very close to Jackson Hole and as a result is sometimes out-shone by its neighbour. Don’t be put off though, because Grand Targhee is an impressive location to ski with a fantastic snow record and a lot less people cluttering up the slopes.

The ski area is large and the slopes tend to favour intermediate skiers., however there are slopes here to suit all skier levels, beginners are well served and there is some great terrain for expert skiers as well.

The snow conditions at Grand Targhee are often some of the best in the world, as the geography and climate ensure regular dumps of powder.

Grand Targhee has an efficient lift network which is more than capable of handling skier numbers on all but the busiest times on the busiest days.

Grand Targhee is a small resort and so even though there are great places to eat and drink nightlife is limited. The resort is popular with dedicated skiers who are early to bed and early to rise, as well as discerning younger ski families who want a great location to ski without the frills of a large resort.
