Bohinj - Vogel Ski Map

The Bohinj ski region includes a number of ski areas including the Vogel ski area. The resort is located in the eastern edges of the Alps in Slovenia. The altitude of the resort is not high at 569m, but despite this snow conditions are often good in the Vogel ski area, especially at the height of the season. Access to the main ski area from the resort is via Gondola which takes skiers to an altitude of 1535m, and from here there are 22km of slopes to explore that will suit beginners and intermediates well. It is possible to ski back to the resort, but this may be limited due to snow conditions at lower points in the season.

The resort of Bohinj is located next to Lake Bohinj which is an authentic alpine town set in an idyllic location. The town is a fair size and has a good range of restaurants, bars and accommodation. This is a popular resort throughout the year and has a range of facilities that add to it’s authentic charm and beautiful setting.
