Bear Valley Ski Map

Bear Valley Ski resort has a limited altitude range, but is a high resort and so snow conditions are often good here. Located in the Central Sierra Mountains the resort is relatively close to Sacramento and the Bay area and so is often populated with weekenders and skiers visiting for a few days.

Bear Valley Ski resort is a small resort with access to a medium sized ski area and so the slopes tend to be uncluttered.

Bear Valley is a casual no frills resort with all the basic facilities you would expect of a ski resort. Nightlife is limited as there are only a few bars and restaurants on the slopes and in the resort itself.

The slopes here are varied with two distinct areas to ski, Upper Mountain and Village side offering different aspects so skiers can take advantage of the sun or the shade depending upon the snow conditions.
