Aschau im Zillertal Ski Map

Aschau im Zillertal ski resort is low at 600m and so there is a small bus trip to enable skiers to gain access to the large Aschau - Kaltenbach ski area. This is an extensive area for skiing with pistes to suit all abilities of skiers in its open season. The peak is at 2501m where skiers can also gain access to the equally as large Hochfugen ski area. In combination there is a large area to ski. The resort of Aschau im Zillertal is a small and quiet resort which suits families well. There is a quite challenging run which enables more experienced skiers to get back to the resort avoiding the bus but this is at a low altitude and it may not be fully open throughout the whole season.
