Arolla Ski Map

Arolla ski resort is a very small resort with lots of loyal fans. The small village is at a height of 2000m and the ski altitude ranges up to nearly 3,000 metres, so the conditions are usually very good throughout the whole season. Arolla has a limited number of lifts and pistes but there is plenty of opportunity for experienced skiers to venture off-piste to challenge themselves. Heli-skiing in and around Arolla is popular and there are some vast back country areas to explore. The resort of Arolla is friendly and welcoming, with some good quality hotels and apartments. Nightlife is not the reason to visit Arolla. The resort is popular with skiers who like quiet destinations and the challenge of the mountain.
