Christlum ski resort is located on the shore of the Achensee Lake and ski area in the Austrian Tirol. The resort has direct access to 27km of mostly wide and open slopes that suit beginners well. The Archensee area has three main ski areas Maurach, Pertisau and the Christlum (which is the largest). The resorts are connected via a bus shuttle and so in total this area does offer 50km of slopes. The altitude range is quite low and so conditions are best during the peak season. The area is popular with schools for and is cost effective with ski passes being lower in cost than may of it's larger neighbours, but still offering a great environment for beginners to learn with some good intermediate skiing on offer as well.
