49 Degrees North is a great resort for beginners and intermediates. The resort is a favourite with families and learner groups as the environment is clean and the locals friendly. The ski area is a good size and has some good facilities and great snow. Snow conditions are generally very good in this area and the resort is no exception, as it gets a good dump of powder regularly. The pistes grades do vary and so there is some easy or challenging terrain for all levels of skiers. The ski lift network at 49 north is is modern and capabale of coping with demand in this resort on all but the very busiest days and so the lift queues are usually short. Staying at the Lodge is recommended for easy access to the slopes, but there is a lot of parking available here for cars and RV's and so if you want take advantage of lower costs accomodation elsewhere you can drive in and day ski here cost effectively. 49 degrees north is located in the north western area of Washington state close to the Canadian border. You can get the easily via Spokane International airport which is the largest airport within an easily travelable distance of thee resort. 49 degrees north gets good reviews from its visitors across all platforms and the scenery is this part of the world is breathtaking.
